Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has a few issues, wait at least a year before buying There is no support for this product. It's been 18 days since I contacted Samsung support and no reply yet. With a premium product like this I would expect to have premium support. And direct bug report from app so that I don't have to click through 6 screens on a website. I've contacted support few times through different channels and I never got actual support, they claimed that my phone (Nexus 5X) is not compatible with Smart Home app although this isn't mentioned in Play Store at all, and that my floors are not compatible with point and clean. For the record, I have very common white lino and beech colour laminate floors. I actually had to have a few very intense and angry chat sessions to get some action, what is that I was promised an engineer visit. The vacuum hasn't got a visible stop switch so if something goes wrong e.g. "chases" into a toddler or bumps into something it shouldn't or for any other reason it is not straightforward to know what to do. Yes there is a start/stop button on top but that is small, it is not clearly visible (has the same size and colour like the two other buttons around), is not a physical button so is not clear where to press and whether it was pressed or not and the stop action is not immediate. There should be a big red physical button labelled STOP at top what when pressed stops the vacuum immediately. It has only one, universal brush what based user manual seems to be some sort of pet brush I guess optimised for pet hair. But we don't have pets so I'd rather have a brush for carpets. It has a glossy body, an extreme dust magnet. Looks very nice on pictures and when box is opened, however after first 20 minutes of use is full of dust and scratches. This device is expected to operate in dust, squeeze into tight places, bump into things, get stuck under things so it should have a grey, dust repellant body and rugged surface so that bumps and scratches are not visible. Cleaning path is random and has lots of repeats, cleans the hallway at least 10 times. Cant't climb on a rug, the thickest rug it can handle is an IKEA TÅSTRUP. It is not possible to share the vacuum with other family members in Smart Home app even when I log in with same user, this makes the use of floorplan impossible by more than one person. This was supposed to be major selling point so should work the best, unfortunately is an epic failure. Another failure in the floorplan feature is that treats our kitchen and living room as one so I can't select kitchen only. The two areas are separated by a hallway and both have doors. I had 4 floorplans created but no change. I should be able to manually adjust the floorplan. Weird, but is afraid of black. I have a black rug and it doesn't clean it. I have an an IKEA TÅSTRUP rug too and it goes round the black circles. Basic options like clean this room, or clean selected areas on schedule are missing. It is only possible to use the floorplan manually. Can't create floorplans without charger. So if your home has more than one floors you can't use the select and go feature only on one floor unless you buy another charger. Point and clean just doesn't work. When I point the vacuum starts going round randomly, including bumping into things without any control. The display is very basic. A matrix display would be needed, so that messages are readable. Sometimes it looks like the dashboard of a Klingon ship, 20+ unidentifiable characters scrolling left to right on a 10 character wide display. Still no idea what it says. No check that dustbin is removed. Eg if you washed it and still drying it will start cleaning on schedule and on demand too. Stupid ommission. Dustbin extremely small. No option for a bag, so everything will be full of dust when emptied.
