Home screen widgets are applications that offer an up-to-the-moment glance at important information (such as weather or upcoming calendar events) or let you perform tasks (such as dialing a contact or pausing a song).

Add a Home Screen Widget


1. From the Watch screen, rotate the bezel to the right.

2. Touch the Add widget icon.

3. Rotate the bezel to the widget you want to add. For this example, touch Alarm.

4. Follow the on-screen steps for setting up the widget.

Remove a Home Screen Widget


You can remove widgets from the Home screen of your Samsung Gear S2.


1. From the Watch screen, rotate the bezel to the right to the widget you want to remove.

2. Touch and hold the widget you want to remove.

4. Press the Back key to return to the Home screen.

Customize the Home Screen Widget Layout


You can rearrange the order in which Home screen widgets display when you swipe to the left from the Watch screen.


1. From the Watch screen, rotate the bezel to the right to access the Home screen widgets.

2. For this example, we will move the Calendar widget from the first widget spot to the third. Touch and hold the widget to open the edit mode.

3. Touch and hold the widget, and then drag it to the left or right.

Note: To remove the widget, touch the Remove Gear S2 - How can I add, remove, and customise home screen widgets on my Samsung Gear S2? icon at the top-right.

4. Release the widget when it is in your preferred location. Touch the widget again to exit the edit mode.
