How to use Smart Remote Control for Samsung TV?
You can control the TV by connecting the Samsung Smart Remote, and you can enjoy various apps and content using the Smart Hub.
To reconnect your Smart Remote with your Samsung Smart TV follow the below steps:
- Point the Smart Remote at the remote control sensor on the TV.
- Press and hold both play/pause and Return buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.
- Your TV will begin syncing with the Smart Remote. Then a message will appear, indicating that the remote is now connected to your TV.
- In the Frame model:
In the case of the Frame model, if you press briefly while watching TV, it changes to Art Mode, and if you press the button briefly in Art mode, it enters the Media Home.
- Press and hold the button to turn off the TV
Press the Set/Number/Color button. when the virtual number window is displayed, enter the channel number, then press the OK button to change the channel.
Note :
- Each time you press this button, Settings menu / virtual numeric pad / Option pad with Colour buttons are displayed alternately.
- Use this button to access additional options that are specific to the feature in use.
- Press to bring up the virtual numeric pad on the screen. Use the numeric keypad to enter numeric values. Select numbers and then select Done or Enter Number to enter a numeric value. Use to change the channel, enter a PIN, ZIP code, etc.
Press the channel button to view the 'Guide'.
Press and hold the channel button for more than 1 second to view the 'Channel List'
- Move the volume button up or down to adjust the volume.
- Press the volume button to turn off the sound.
- Press and hold the volume button for more than 2 seconds to launch the ' Accessibility' function.
You can launch Home directly by pressing the Home button on the remote control.
Press the Settings/Number/color button to select a number, color option key, or setting item.
Each time you press the up or down button on the remote control or press the settings/number/color button, the setting/virtual number window/color button and the options window appear alternately.
Note: This function may not be supported depending on the model.
If you press the multi-view button, you can select the desired content and watch it at the same time.
Press and hold the voice recognition button. say the desired command and release the button, then the Tv will recognize the command and execute the function.
Press and hold Play/Pause in game mode to launch the game bar.
Note: The Game Bar function may not be supported depending on the model.
You can check the infrared signal by using any digital camera, including the one on your mobile device. Turn on the camera and point the front tip of the remote at the camera lens. Press and hold the power button on the remote while looking at the mobile device screen. You will see a light or flash coming from the remote.
If you cannot see any light or flash coming from the remote and you have already replaced the batteries of the remote, it means that the remote has a problem.
