How do I set my photos and videos to always save to SD card instead of to device memory?


Follow the below steps to set your default storage setting for photos and videos taken with your camera.


You can also set your photos to automatically back up online using Dropbox. Find more information on how to back up your photos and videos using Dropbox here.

PLEASE NOTE: these steps may differ slightly depending on your device. Follow the steps that closely matches your device.

1 From the home screen, choose Apps or swipe up to access your apps.
Tap Apps
2 Tap Camera
Select Camera app
3 Tap the Settings cog (on some devices you may need to tap the arrow at the top right of the screen first)
Tap the Settings <strong>cog</strong> (on some devices you may need to tap the arrow at the top right of the screen first)
4 On some devices, you may need to tap More as per the below screen. If you do not see this screen, skip to step 5.
Select three dot overflow menu
5 Tap Storage Location
Tap Storage Location
6 Tap Memory Card or SD Card to save to the SD card, or Device to save to the device memory.
Tap Memory Card or SD Card to save to the SD card, or Device to save to the device memory.
