How to back up and export data on the Galaxy Watch Active

Back up your Galaxy Watch Active’s data using Samsung Cloud. Register your Samsung account and sign in to keep your personal information and settings safe on your Galaxy Watch Active. You can back up your sensitive information and access it later.

1 Launch the Galaxy Wearable app on your mobile device, then tap Home on the bottom left
2 Scroll down and select Account and backup and then Back up and restore
Select Account and backup
3 Tap Backup settings and select the items you wish to back up
4 Tap Back up now to save the data in Samsung Cloud
Tap Back up now
Importing images from your mobile device Click to Expand

Import images and albums from your mobile device to your Galaxy Watch Active to use as a watch face or store them safely on your wrist.

1 Launch the Galaxy Wearable app on your mobile device and tap Home on the bottom left
2 Scroll down and select Add content to your watch
Select Add content to your watch
3 Tap Copy images
Tap Copy images
4 Select the files you wish to copy and tap Done
Select files to copy and tap Done

 

Enable Auto Sync

 

You can also sync images on your mobile device with your Galaxy Watch Active. This means that images from the selected albums will be automatically added onto your watch. 

1 Follow steps 1 and 2 above
2 Slide the Auto sync switch to the right to activate

3 Tap Albums to sync and select the albums to automatically import to your watch
4 Tap Done
Select the albums to import to watch

Please note: the selected albums will be automatically synced with your Galaxy Watch Active when it has more than 15 % of remaining battery power
