Find my earbuds feature

Trying to search your earbuds through the "Find my earbuds" feature is not working - but why?

Foreign substances that enter inside the lens of the IR sensor can cause the "Find my earbuds" feature to not work properly.  This can also affect other functions related to the IR sensor such as; 


  • The automatic mute feature when taking off the earbuds


  • The touchpad while you're wearing the earbuds. 


Make sure to wipe the earbuds with a dry, clean cloth regularly to help prevent this.


If you experience any of the above symptoms, please visit your nearest Authorised Samsung Service Center  with your device. They can further assess your device to confirm any problems.
