Find my earbuds feature

With no cords or wire, the Galaxy Buds are meant to be worn on the go. However, if the earbuds are lost, you can use the Find My Earbuds feature in the Galaxy Wearable App to locate them.

To Find your missing Buds

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable App on your device.
    This will be automatically downloaded by default and can be found in the Samsung labled folder. If this is not already downloaded on your device, you can download this from the Galaxy Store or the Play Store
  • Scroll down and select 'Find My Earbuds' to begin
  • Select Start
  • The Buds will start beeping. This will gradually get louder for a period of 3 minutes. 
  • Select Stop to end the search. 

Trying to search your earbuds through the "Find my earbuds" feature is not working - but why?

Foreign substances that enter inside the lens of the IR sensor can cause the "Find my earbuds" feature to not work properly.  This can also affect other functions related to the IR sensor such as; 


  • The automatic mute feature when taking off the earbuds


  • The touchpad while you're wearing the earbuds. 


Make sure to wipe the earbuds with a dry, clean cloth regularly to help prevent this.
