I am unable to Sign in to my Samsung Account

Creating a Samsung Account has many benefits for you and all your Samsung products. If you no longer are able to sign in to your Samsung Account see the steps below, alternatievly contact Samsung Directly with the details provided.

If you forget your Samsung account ID, you may recover the ID using the following methods:  

  • From the Sign-in page of the Samsung account website, click the "Find ID and Reset password?" link.
  • On the "Find ID/Password?" page, select "Find ID".
  • Enter the family name, given name, and date of birth you entered when you signed up and click the "Confirm" button. You will recover the registered ID using this information. Note that the displayed ID will be partially redacted to protect your personal information.

If you can't sign in, please check your devices or Samsung account version. Sometimes the cause could be a temporary system error.

  • If you see an error message such as "An error occurred during an SSL connection" or "Sign in failed due to difference between current time and device time"
     Please check "Settings > Date and Time" on your device.
    For security reasons, Samsung account requires the settings for date and time to be the same as the current date and time.

 

  • If you still have problems signing in, please contact please call Samsung Customer Care on 0800 726 786 or Live Chat with our Technical Team online, explaining which error message you are receiving and provide your device log.

If you forget your password, you can follow the instructions below to reset it.

 

  1. From the Sign-in page of the Samsung account website, click the "Find ID and Reset password?" link.
  2. On the "Find ID/password?" page that pops up after clicking the link, select the "Reset password" menu and enter your Email ID.
  3. If you verified your phone number when you signed up for Samsung account, you can reset your password through SMS verification.
  4. If you have set up a security question and answer for your account, please enter the answer to the security question. If the answer is correct, you will be able to reset your password immediately. 
  5. If you have never verified your phone number or set up a security question and answer, we will send an email containing a link, which you can open to reset your password, to your Email ID.
  6. Open the password reset email in the inbox of your Email ID account and click the link in. You will be taken to the page where you can create a new password. Once you have completed the reset process, you will be able to sign in using your new password.

 

The link in the password reset email will expire after 12 hours, after which you will be unable to change your password using that link. Therefore, we recommend that you change the password promptly.
